शहापूर येथील ज्ञानवर्धिनी संस्था संचालित सोनुभाऊ बसवंत कला व वाणिज्य महाविद्यालयाच्या अंतर्गत गुणवत्ता निर्धारण कक्ष व इतिहास विभाग यांच्या संयुक्त विद्यमाने, ज्ञानवर्धिनी संस्थेचे संस्थापक अध्यक्ष कै. सोनुभाऊ बसवंत ऊर्फ काका यांच्या पुण्यतिथीनिमित्त मंगळवार, दि. १६ डिसेंबर २०२५ रोजी कै. सोनुभाऊ बसवंत ऊर्फ काका यांच्या पुण्यतिथीचा कार्यक्रम तसेच त्यानिमित्ताने राष्ट्रीय स्तरावरील निबंध लेखन स्पर्धेच्या पारितोषिक वितरण समारंभाचे आयोजन करण्यात आले. या निबंध लेखन स्पर्धेचा विषय “नैसर्गिक आपत्ती व पर्यावरण : जागतिक समस्या आणि आव्हाने” असा होता. विद्यार्थ्यांमध्ये पर्यावरणाबाबत जागरूकता निर्माण करणे तसेच त्यांच्या विचार व अभिव्यक्तीस व्यासपीठ उपलब्ध करून देणे, हा या स्पर्धेचा प्रमुख उद्देश होता. देशभरातील विविध महाविद्यालयांमधून एकूण ६५ विद्यार्थ्यांनी या स्पर्धेत उत्स्फूर्त सहभाग नोंदविला. कार्यक्रमाचे अध्यक्षस्थान ज्ञानवर्धिनी संस्थेच्या विश्वस्त मंडळाचे अध्यक्ष मा. श्री. किशोर कुडव यांनी भूषविले. कार्यक्रमाचे प्रास्ताविक इतिहास विभाग प्रमुख प्रो. डॉ. जी. जी. सोनवणे यांनी केले. यावेळी महाविद्यालयातील विद्यार्थी, प्राध्यापक, प्रशासकीय कर्मचारी, प्राचार्य तसेच विश्वस्त मंडळ व कार्यकारी समितीचे पदाधिकारी व सदस्य यांनी कै. सोनुभाऊ बसवंत ऊर्फ काका यांना श्रद्धांजली अर्पण करून आदरांजलीपर मनोगत व्यक्त केले. या प्रसंगी ज्ञानवर्धिनी संस्थेच्या कार्यकारी समितीचे अध्यक्ष मा. श्री. बाळकृष्ण पाटील, विश्वस्त मंडळाचे उपाध्यक्ष मा. श्री. देवेंद्र शहा, कार्यकारी समितीचे उपाध्यक्ष मा. श्री. चंद्रशेखर अधिकारी, विश्वस्त मंडळाचे सचिव मा. श्री. रमेश वनारसे, कार्यकारी समितीचे सचिव मा. श्री. दिलीप भोपतराव, कार्यकारी समितीचे सदस्य मा. श्री. बाळासाहेब खारीक, मा. श्री. अरुण कासार, मा. श्री. अनिल निचिते, मा. श्रीमती. अपर्णाताई खाडे, मा. श्री. कल्पेश दुधाळे तसेच महाविद्यालयाचे प्राचार्य प्रो. डॉ. अनिल सिंह आदी मान्यवर उपस्थित होते. कै. सोनुभाऊ बसवंत ऊर्फ काका यांच्या पुण्यतिथीनिमित्त आयोजित राष्ट्रीय स्तरावरील निबंध लेखन स्पर्धेत प्रथम क्रमांक – कु. कोमल चंद्रकांत केकान (के. जे. सोमैया कॉलेज, कोपरगाव, जि. अहमदनगर), द्वितीय क्रमांक – कु. सय्यद सायरा नूरुल हसन (एस. एस. एम. एस. कॉलेज ऑफ एज्युकेशन अँड रिसर्च, भिवंडी), तृतीय क्रमांक – कु. सबनम शेख (रामनारायण रुइया स्वायत्त महाविद्यालय, मुंबई), तर उत्तेजनार्थ पारितोषिक – कु. साहिल आग्रे (पाटपन्हाळे महाविद्यालय) यांनी पटकाविले. सर्व विजेत्यांना प्रमाणपत्रे, रोख रक्कम व सन्मानचिन्हे देऊन गौरविण्यात आले. या कार्यक्रमाच्या यशस्वी आयोजनासाठी ज्ञानवर्धिनी संस्थेचे सर्व पदाधिकारी व सदस्य, मुंबई विद्यापीठाच्या मानव्य विद्याशाखेचे अधिष्ठाता व महाविद्यालयाचे प्राचार्य प्रो. डॉ. अनिल सिंह, महाविद्यालयाचे उपप्राचार्य डॉ. एस. एल. गायकवाड, अंतर्गत गुणवत्ता निर्धारण कक्षाचे समन्वयक प्रो. डॉ. एस. एस. वाघमोडे, इतिहास विभाग प्रमुख प्रो. डॉ. जी. जी. सोनवणे, महाविद्यालयातील प्राध्यापक, शिक्षकेत्तर कर्मचारी व विद्यार्थ्यांचे मोलाचे सहकार्य लाभले. कार्यक्रमाचे सूत्रसंचालन डॉ. सीमा परटोले यांनी केले, तर प्रा. प्रवीण ठाकरे यांनी उपस्थित सर्वांचे आभार मानले. कार्यक्रमाची सांगता राष्ट्रगीताने करण्यात आली.

Students Induction Program “KNOW YOUR COLLEGE” on Tuesday, 25th July, 2023 at 8.30 am. in Room No. 11. 66 Students of F.Y.B.Com. were participated in this programme. The I/C Principal Dr. A.K.Singh inaugurate the function by lighting a lamp and Sarswati Pujan and address to the gathering. Prof. Dr. S.G.Sagar, Professor and Head, Department of Commerce, gave introductory remark and make aware about the facilities available in the college. Prof. Dr. A.L.More, Professor and Head, Department of Economics, gave detail information about MPSC/ UPSC and Examination system. Prof. Dr. S.S.Waghmode, Librarian, gave detail information about library, Prof. Dr. G.G.Sonawane Head , Department of History, gave information about Anti Ragging and what are the laws available to protect the students? Prof. Dr. D.D.Kamble, Head, Department of English, gave detail information about Cultural Activities of our college and what are the opportunities available to participate in the cultural programme? Prof. Dr. R.S.Shanwar, Head, Department of Marathi, gave information about N.S.S. activities conducted in the college. Prof. S.M.Tadavi, Department of Economics, gave information to the students about Sports activities of our college. Prof. Dr. A.V.Ohwal, Department of English, gave information about N.C.C. and how to admit in this activity.
