The Unit of National Cadet Corps started in our college from June 2010. It is a semi-military organisation which gives disciplined training to young college boys and girls students. It indirectly helps the students to get commission in military as well as in various government and private sectors. It also helps to create an atmosphere of discipline among the college students and in society in general.

VISION

To build a generation of disciplined, patriotic, and socially responsible youth equipped with leadership, physical fitness, moral values, and national integration, prepared to contribute effectively to nation-building and future challenges.

MISSION

To develop cadets through structured military training, character-building activities, community service, adventure programs and skill development, fostering teamwork, discipline, civic commitment, disaster-response ability and motivation for careers in armed forces and national service.

Aims of College NCC Unit

To develop discipline, character, brotherhood, spirit of adventure and ideals of selfless service amongst youth. To enlighten leadership qualities among the youth who will serve the Nation regardless of which career they choose. To motivate the youth to choose a career in armed forces

Camp Name: Army attachment camp Location: Artillery center Nashik Date : 4 April 2022 to 18 April 2022 Experience : Weapons training (Rifle, Grenade, tanks, RL), Drill, Horse Riding, Golf, cricket tournament which our batallion won under my captainship, route March, obstacle training, map reading, adventure activities (climbing, rappelling, wall climb, mountaineering ),movie screening, IRL adventure activity at Pandav leni Nashik, CO’s address & photo OP, Shooting range visit.

Camp Name: EK BHARAT SHRESHTA BHARAT Location: Swami harshvardhan public school Varanasi Date :17 oct 2023 to 28 oct 2023 Experience :Attending the Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat (EBSB) Camp was a proud and memorable experience for me. T he camp aimed to promote national integration and cultural exchange among NCC cadets from different states of India. During the campThe most exciting part was the cultural exchange programme, where cadets showcased their traditional dances, songs, costumes, food, and languages, helping us understand and respect India’s diversity.

Camp Name: 316/IGC/TSC Location: kolhapur Date : 10th Aug 2023 to 19th Aug 2023 Experience : My experience at the NCC Thal Sainik Camp (TSC) was one of the most memorable and disciplined phases of my life. The camp was held in a highly organized military environment where cadets from different states came together, promoting unity and national integration. The daily routine began early in the morning with physical training, drill, and parade practice. These activities helped improve my physical fitness, stamina, and sense of discipline. We received professional training in firing, map reading, obstacle training, and field craft.

Camp Name: All India Advance Leadership Camp Location: sprawling Itarana Army Cantt in Alwar, Rajasthan, Date: 11 Nov 2024 to 22 Nov 2024 Experience: My exhilarating experience at the All-India Advanced Leadership Camp (ALC) of the National Cadet Corps (NCC) remains unforgettable. Held at the sprawling Interana Army Cantt in Alwar, Rajasthan, this camp brought together 391 cadets from across India, fostering unity and discipline. As a Senior Division cadet from Mumbai Group B, I immersed myself in transformative leadership skills training. Daily drills and group tasks sharpened my decision-making, team coordination, and crisis management abilities, preparing me to lead with confidence.

Attended the Desert Safari Camp held in Rajasthan from 13th to 20th November 2025. The camp commenced with an inspiring opening address at the Harbir Sainik Institute by Group Commandant Col. J. S. Rathore, Sena Medal, where cadets were briefed about the camp rules, schedule, and planned visits. The interaction sessions and group formations fostered coordination among different directorates, strengthening unity and teamwork. Experiencing the vast desert landscape filled him with excitement, pride, and a deep sense of responsibility as a senior under officer. He felt honored to represent his unit and gained confidence through active participation and leadership during the camp. The Desert Safari Camp was a memorable and enriching journey that strengthened his discipline, leadership qualities, and spirit of national integration.

SGT SANIKA GOLEKAR
Attended the Mountaineering Adventure Camp held at Manali from 13th to 22nd July 2025 in the majestic Himalayas. During the camp, she acquired elementary skills in rock climbing, rappelling, river crossing, trekking, camping, and mountain rescue techniques. Trekking nearly 60 kilometers and reaching an altitude of 9,000 feet filled her with a sense of achievement and pride. She felt excited and inspired while training amidst the breathtaking beauty of the mountains. The rigorous adventure activities strengthened her confidence, leadership qualities, and mental resilience. The camp was a memorable and life-changing experience that enhanced her spirit of discipline and adventure.
